What is SMOKIN'SKYE?

Nestled in beautiful woodlands by teaming waterfalls, the hut provides a wonderful place to rest, explore, eat and retreat, whilst enjoying listening to bubbling waterfalls and the sounds of nature for a three hour BBQ experience.

When is SMOKIN-SKYE open?

The experience is open at various times throughout the year, normally on Tuesdays from 5 to 8 PM. Check the booking calendar for availability. Please contact me for additional days that may be available also during the week.

Who can attend the experience?

Anyone who is over the age of 12, and with a sense of adventure!

There is a rough track (about 50 meters off the road) to walk along to the woodland hut. Sturdy shoes or preferably walking boots are recommended.

If you choose to go further into the woods please do so at your own risk.

Experience Details

  • Opening Hours

    The experience is open at various times throughout the year, normally on Tuesdays from 5 to 8 PM. Booking essential 48 hrs beforehand). Please contact me for additional days that may be available also during the week.

  • Capacity

    The hut can seat up to 12 people. If there are any children in your party - under 16 and over 12 years of age - must be declared at time of booking.

  • Price

    £39.99 per person. A non refundable deposit of £10.00 per person is required at the time of booking. PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER FOR PRIVATE EVENTS HIRE.

  • Cutlery and Dishware

    In the spirit of the great outdoors, you will be issued with your own campfire plate, mug and cutlery, which will be yours during the duration of your experience.

  • What about the weather?

    The hut is watertight and purpose built, so if you don’t want to be outside, you can stay toasty and dry, and just watch the coals glow.

  • Toilet Facility

    There is a toilet in our main house, but please let us know beforehand if you wish to use the facility
    so we can keep our lovely, but buoyant Bull Terrier on a lead.
